Dissolving the General Assembly

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the General Assembly of New Zealand stands prorogued to the 10th day of November 1966, and I have thought fit to dissolve it:

Now, therefore, pursuant to the New Zealand Constitution Act 1852, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby dissolve the General Assembly as from the date hereof.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of October 1966.
