Revocation of Appointment of Thornton Marine Domain
Board and Appointment of New Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Thornton
Marine Domain Board, as published in Gazette, 1963, page
1983, and appoints the Whakatane County Council to be
the Thornton Marine Domain Board, to have control of
the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the
provisions of the said Act, as a public domain.

Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage, Change
of the Purpose of a Reserve to Recreation Purposes, and
Addition of the Reserve to the Waikouaiti Domain

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the New
Zealand Priory Trust Board to control and manage, and
changes the purpose of, the reserve described in the Schedule
hereto, from a reserve for a site for an ambulance-brigade
training centre to a reserve for recreation purposes; and,
further, declares the said reserve to be a public domain,
subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to
form part of the Waikouaiti Domain, to be administered
as a public domain by the Domain Board.

SECTION 2, Block LXXIV, Town of Hawksbury: Area, 1

Remembrance Day 1966

CITIZENS and traffic control authorities throughout New
Zealand are requested to observe Remembrance Day on
Sunday, 13 November 1966.

The observance of this day should be similar to that of
Remembrance Day last year. Two minutes' silence should be
observed from 11 a.m., and all vehicular traffic should halt
during that period.

The Government trusts that churches will agree to arrange,
as far as practicable, for a morning service on this day to
commence at such time as to enable two minutes' silence to be
observed at 11 o'clock.

Where a citizens' memorial service is held, it is suggested
that it should be at the local cenotaph or war memorial.

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices
    (Positive List) Notice 1966, Amendment No. 1, and shall be
    read together with, and deemed to be part of, the Control of
    Prices (Positive List) Notice 1966* (hereinafter referred to
    as the principal notice).

  2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its publication in the Gazette.

  3. The principal notice is hereby amended by

(i) Adding after the item "butter", under the general
heading of FOODSTUFFS and RELATED COM-
MODITIES, sub-heading Groceries, in the Schedule
the qualifying words "manufactured in New Zealand".
