Licensing Trustees of Otahuhu Sailing Club to Occupy a
Site for a Clubhouse on Tamaki River

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Elizabeth Eugene Potter, Richard
James Kellow, and Dick Ryff, acting as trustees for the
Otahuhu Sailing Club for the purposes of this licence (here-
inafter called the licensees, which term shall include their
administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context
requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part
of the foreshore and bed of the Tamaki River, Otahuhu, as
shown on plan marked M.D. 9084, and deposited in the office
of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose
of maintaining thereon a clubhouse, as shown on the said
plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees
upon, and subject to, the terms and conditions set forth in
the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall so far
    as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
    day of September 1966.
  3. The premium payable by the licensees shall be three
    pounds (£3) ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the
    licensees shall be three pounds (£3) ($6).

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Masterton
(Notice No. Ag. 9060)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and
to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under
section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for
the purposes of the said section, the following special order,
made by the Masterton County Council on the 8th day of
February 1966, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers, provisions,
and authorities vested in that behalf by the Counties Act
1956 and the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, or otherwise enabling
it in that behalf, the Council of the County of Masterton doth
hereby by special order declare that plants mentioned in the
Schedule hereto (being plants mentioned in the First Schedule
of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950) shall be deemed to be
noxious weeds within the County of Masterton, and ordered
to come into operation on the 1st day of September 1966.

SCHEDULE

Barberry (Berberis vulgaris).
Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniatus).
Burdock (Arctium, any species).
Common broom (Cytisus scoparius).
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare).
Goat’s rue (Galega officinalis).
Gorse (Ulex, any species).
Hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha and Crataegus monogyna).
Heath (Erica lusitanica and Erica arborea).
Hemlock (Conium maculatum).
Milk thistle or variegated thistle (Silybum marianum).
Nodding thistle (Carduus nutans).
Pennisetum (Pennisetum macrourum).
Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).
Saint John's wort (Hypericum perforatum).
Sweetbrier (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa).

(Notice No. Ag. 9062)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and
to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section
9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes
of the said section, the following special order, made by the
Franklin County Council on the 25th day of July 1966, is
hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious
Weeds Act 1950, the Franklin County Council hereby resolves
and declares, by way of special order, that Welted thistle

(Carduus crispus), being a plant mentioned in the First
Schedule of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, be a noxious
weed within the County of Franklin.
