Consent to Erection of Flashing Red Traffic Control Lights

PURSUANT to subclause (5) of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights by the Manukau City Council at the place described in the Schedule hereto, for the purposes of traffic control, in terms of subclause (4) of the said regulation 18.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Manukau City on the Great South Road, Manurewa, north-west and south-east of Hall Street; as the same is more particularly indicated on Plan T.T. 4009, deposited in the Head Office of the Transport Department at Wellington.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Geraldine County Council, Change of Purpose of a Reserve to Scenic Purposes, and Addition of the Reserve to the Peel Forest Park

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Geraldine, changes the purpose from a reserve for plantation purposes to a reserve for scenic purposes, and, further, declares the reserve described in the Schedule hereto to be part of the Peel Forest Park, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Peel Forest Board.

Declaration that Part of the Waitohi Domain Shall Be a Recreation Reserve, Change of the Purpose of the Reserve, and Appointment to Control and Manage

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Waitohi Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve, subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, pursuant to the said Act, changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for a site for a Scout hall, and appoints the Boy Scouts’ Association of New Zealand to control and manage the said reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
