31. Refunds on Tickets

Add the following new paragraph to clause 3—
When a ticket has been issued under the bulk travel voucher system and an unused portion of that ticket is presented for refund, 10 per cent of the unused milage may be deducted before crediting milage to the relevant bulk travel voucher book; maximum deduction for such a refund will be 150 miles.

52. Pedal Bicycles or Tricycles

Omit paragraph 1 and substitute:

1. Rates—Bicycles, pedal, assembled, not otherwise specified, not packed in cartons, cases or crates will be charged at the following rates for each machine seated to carry one rider:

Omit paragraph 8 and substitute:
8. Storage—Bicycles will be charged storage in accordance with the provisions of section 55, paragraph 4.

53. Motor Bicycles Accompanying Passengers

Omit paragraph 6 and substitute:
6. Motor bicycles when charged with benzine or any inflammable liquid will not be accepted for conveyance by rail. In addition, the battery leads must be disconnected from the battery and tied back in such a manner that they cannot touch the battery terminals while in transit.
