NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR STREET

NOTICE is hereby given that the Porirua City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, to take the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto for street; and notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the lands required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Porirua City Council, situated at Hartham Place, Porirua, and is there open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours. Every person affected by the taking of the said lands should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Porirua City Council, Porirua. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
