Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VIII, Tongariro Survey District, Taumarunui County, for a Maori School (New Site for Otukou Maori School Situated on the No. 47 National Park - Turangi State Highway Adjacent to Papakai Pa Site)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a Maori school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at National Park and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 5 acres and 23·8 perches situated in Block VIII, Tongariro Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Okahukura 8M 2C 2C 2B; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 20502 (S.O. 26494) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IV, Mount Robinson Survey District, Kairanga County, for Road (Oroua River Bridge Approaches at Rangiotu on the No. 56 State Highway)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Rangiotu and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Licensing New Zealand Glass Manufacturers Co. Pty. Ltd. to Occupy a Part of the Foreshore in Parengarenga Harbour as a Site for Piles and Stringers

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits New Zealand Glass Manufacturers Co. Pty. Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Parengarenga Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 7499 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon 10 piles and stringers, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1964.
  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be three pounds (£3) ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) ($10).

Licensing Murray Marcus McIndoe to Erect a Jetty on Lake Bed at Frankton, Lake Wakatipu

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Murray Marcus McIndoe (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Wakatipu at Frankton, as shown on plan marked M.D. 12189 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First and Second Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of July 1966.
  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) ($10).
  4. Members of the public shall be permitted to use the jetty at all reasonable times.

SECOND SCHEDULE
DUES AND CHARGES
Dues and charges in respect of the use of the jetty shall be charged and taken by the licensee according to the following scales:

Berthage

(A) Per Annum—

Vessels certified to carry up to and including 50 passengers £ s. d.
Vessels certified to carry more than 50 passengers 20 0 0 ($40)
Dinghy 25 0 0 ($50)
Vessels not hereinbefore provided for, 6s. (60c.) per day, or 10 0 0 ($1)
1 10 0 ($3)

(B) Per quarter—

| Launch or yacht not usually berthed in Lake Wakatipu | 10 0 0 ($1) |

Passenger Toll

For every passenger landing on or embarking from the said jetty—

(a) On round trips commencing at and returning to the said jetty, for each 10s. ($1) or part of 10s. ($1) charged the passenger for the trip 6d. (5c)

(b) In all other cases, on each occasion of landing or embarking 6d. (5c)

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

SECTION 11, Block XI, Waikouaiti Survey District, and Section 40, Block III, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District: Area, 492 acres 3 roods 27 perches, more or less. Certificate of title, Volume 2c, folio 1277 (S.O. Plan 13027).

As shown on plan No. 207/4 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
