HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council hereby directs the sale of the land,
subject to drainage easement created by memorandum of
transfer No. 40681, Southland Land Registry.

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 25 perches situated
in Block I, Invercargill Hundred, being part Lot 1, D.P. 1756;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 20430 (S.O. 6730) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia,
edged sepia.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets
apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule
hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial
ground for the common use and benefit of the members of
the Whanau-a-Tawhakairiora hapu of the Ngatiporou tribe.
