Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the
Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the
provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations
so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade
motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned,
but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of
the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy
trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer
described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall
not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years,
to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Roads Excluded From Speed Limitation and Limited Speed Zone Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
-
The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962
and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the
27th day of April 1964†, as relates to roads in Napier City
is hereby revoked. -
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by
section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. -
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes
of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne)
(from Hyderabad Road to the southern end of Pandora
Road Bridge).

Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Onehunga
Whereas the Minister of Labour, by notice published in the
Gazette on the 16th day of June 1966, appointed certain
persons to be the Port Conciliation Committee for the Port
of Onehunga for the term of one year, expiring on the 31st
day of May 1967:
And whereas the names of the persons nominated as the
workers' representatives on the said Committee were not
correctly stated in the said notice:
Now therefore, pursuant to the Waterfront Industry Act
1953, the Minister of Labour hereby appoints the persons
hereinafter described as being nominated by the Onehunga
Port Workers' Industrial Union of Workers to be the workers'
representatives on the Port Conciliation Committee for the
Port of Onehunga for a term ending with the 31st day of
May 1967 so that that committee will now consist of:
Huia Derham McAven, Chairman; and
Eric Charles Buscke, Alfred Geoffrey Hardy, and Cecil
Sidney Owen Hughes (nominated by the New Zealand
Port Employers' Association (Incorporated)); and
William McCarthy, Raymond Thomas Lloyd, and Henry
Allan Brumby (nominated by the Onehunga Port Workers'
Industrial Union of Workers).
