RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rangiriri Bridge Loan 1966, £18,400
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £18,400 authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting Council’s share of the cost of replacing the Rangiriri Bridge over the Waikato River, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six seven of a penny (.067d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Raglan; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Raglan County Council held on the 27th day of June 1966.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 9, 1966, £50,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one eight eight four of a penny (.1884d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property, comprising the whole of the County of Raglan; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Raglan County Council held on the 27th day of June 1966.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 19, 1966, £25,000 ($50,000)
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) ($50,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Reserves Development Loan No. 5, 1959, £29,000 and the Hutt County Council’s Stokes Valley Water and Sewerage Loan 1954, £218,000, which mature on 1 August and 1 September 1966, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and sixty-six thousandths of a penny (.166d.) in the pound (£) (.083 cents in the dollar) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 27 June 1966.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 20, 1966, £14,000 ($28,000)
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of fourteen thousand pounds (£14,000) ($28,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Streets and Drainage Loan 1959, £16,500 and Streets Reconstruction Loan No. 8, 1960, £10,500, which mature on 1 August 1966, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred thousandths of a penny (.100d.) in the pound (£) (.050 cents in the dollar) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the provisions of section 10BA of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off.”

HOWICK BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Howick Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000, authorised to be raised by the Howick Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing concrete footpaths in the borough, the said Howick Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one one one pence (.111d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Howick; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Howick Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £114,000, authorised to be raised by the Howick Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing sewerage reticulation in the borough, the said Howick Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal six four eight three pence (.6483d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Howick; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
