Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Piako
(Notice No. Ag. 9010)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Piako County Council on the 26th day of April 1966, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Piako County Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereunder be declared noxious weeds within the boundaries of the County of Piako.

SCHEDULE

Nodding thistle (Carduus nutans).
Welted thistle (Carduus crispus).

PURSUANT to section 22 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purpose of the said section, the following resolution, made by the Heathcote County Council on the 19th day of May 1966, is hereby published.

RESOLUTION

RESOLVED that all plants included in the First Schedule of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and all extension orders thereto, be noxious weeds in the Heathcote County.
