Licensing Kohi Freezing Co. Ltd. to Maintain the Fish Freezer Vessel Kohi on Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Westhaven Inlet, Marlborough Sounds

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Kohi Freezing Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Westhaven Inlet, as shown on plan marked M.D. 12326 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon the fish freezer vessel Kohi as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of July 1966.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten pounds (£10) ($20).
(4) The four piles belonging to the Crown and used by the licensee shall be maintained in good order and repair.

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and it is desired to vary the same:
Now therefore pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Whakatohea Development Scheme Amending Notice 1966, No. 1.
2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 1st day of June 1950† as relates to the classification of roads in Warkworth Town District described in the Schedule hereto and hereby approves the Warkworth Town Council’s proposed classification of the said roads as set out in the said Schedule.
