PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a teacher’s residence from and after the 27th day of June 1966.

Declaring Land and an Easement Over Land Taken for Buildings of the General Government in the Borough of Opotiki
———
PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I also proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time, and at all times hereafter to go, pass, or repass, with or without vehicles or other equipment over the said land for the purposes aforesaid, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, from and after the 27th day of June 1966.

MACKENZIE COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME—(TEKAPO VILLAGE SECTION)
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Mackenzie County, commencing at a point on the eastern shore of Lake Tekapo in line with the northern boundary of Reserve 5175 and proceeding easterly to and along that boundary, the abutment of a road and the northern boundary of Reserve 5176 to the northernmost corner of Reserve 5176; thence southerly generally along the eastern and southern boundaries of that reserve and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the west side of Pukaki-Fairlie Road (No. 8 State Highway); thence southerly along the west side of that highway to the south-eastern corner of part Reserve 3864 contained in Crown lease, Volume 457, folio 37; thence south-westerly along a right line to the southernmost corner of Reserve 4368 and continuing south-westerly along a right line to the southernmost corner of Reserve 180; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that reserve and the production of that boundary to the right
(west) bank of the Tekapo River; thence south-westerly generally along that bank and a right line to the middle of Fork Stream; thence north-westerly generally up the middle of that stream to the eastern side of Pukaki-Fairlie Road (No. 8 State Highway); thence easterly generally along the eastern and southern side of that highway to a point in line with the eastern side of the road to Godley Peaks Station; thence to and along the eastern side of that road to the north-eastern side of the road passing through Run 272 and forming the western boundary of Reserve 5028; thence easterly generally along the north-eastern side of that road and the northern boundary of Reserve 5028 and the production of that boundary to the western shore of Lake Tekapo; thence southerly, easterly, and northerly generally along the shore of that lake to the point of commencement.

MACKENZIE COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME—(COUNTY SECTION)
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, being the County of Mackenzie as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1960, page 203, and amended by New Zealand Gazette, 1964, page 213, excluding the Tekapo Village Section hereinbefore described.

Licensing Elizabeth Myrtle Solomon to Erect a Fence on Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Paroa Bay
———
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Elizabeth Myrtle Solomon (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include her successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Paroa Bay, as shown on plan marked M.D. 12268 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a fence commencing at the junction of high water ordinary spring tide and the eastern side of the creek forming the western boundary of Old Land Claim 175, situated in Block II, Russell Survey District; thence proceeding seawards as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
- The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of June 1966.
- The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds five shillings (£2 5s.) ($4.50) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be one pound ten shillings (£1 10s.) ($3).
