HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to sections 50 and 51 of the Education Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Otahuhu College Board of Governors Order 1966. (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1966.

The Board of Governors of Otahuhu College shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
(b) Six members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, of which members at least two shall be women;
(c) One member elected by the members of the school committees of the Otara Intermediate School, the Otahuhu Intermediate School, the Mangere Intermediate School, and the Papatoetoe Intermediate School;
(d) One member appointed by the Otahuhu College Old Students Association;
(e) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit;

The Minister of Education may from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, amend the list of schools to which paragraph (c) of clause 2 of this order applies.

The Order in Council constituting the Board of Managers of Otahuhu College made on the 27th day of August 1958* and the Order in Council amending the constitution of the Board of Managers of Otahuhu College made on the 29th day of August 1962β are hereby revoked.

(1) This order may be cited as the King Edward Technical High School Board of Governors Order 1966. (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1966.

The Board of Governors of the school formerly known as King Edward Technical College and now known as King Edward Technical High School shall be constituted as follows:
(a) Two members appointed by the Otago Education Board;
(b) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
(c) Two members elected by the Dunedin City Council, the Green Island Borough Council, the Mosgiel Borough Council, the Peninsula County Council, the Port Chalmers Borough Council, the St. Kilda Borough Council, the Taieri County Council, and the Waikouaiti County Council;
(d) One member elected by the associations of employees in local industries;
(e) One member elected by the associations of employers in local industries;
(f) One member appointed by the Otago Polytechnic Council.
- The Minister of Education may, from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, amend the list of local bodies to which paragraph (c) of clause 2 of this order applies.

Captain L. G. Carr, D.S.C., appointed Commodore, Auckland, to date 1 March 1966 (to serve in the rank of Commodore whilst holding this appointment).
Commander D. E. Payne, O.B.E., entered on a three year short service commission on the Supplementary List, to date 8 March 1966, in the rank of Lieutenant Commander with seniority of 1 December 1945.
Commander P. J. Stoner, released (engagement completed), to date 21 April 1966; placed on the Retired List, to date 22 April 1966.
Instructor Commander S. J. F. Hermans, placed on the Retired List and reappointed, to date 17 March 1966.
