HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


O R D E R

  1. This order may be cited as the Wellington City Council Electric Lines Licence 1955, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Wellington City Council Electric Lines Licence 1955* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. The principal order is hereby amended by adding to paragraph 2 thereof the following words:

“and also to lay, construct, put up, place, and use a line commencing at the boundary of the licensee’s area of supply and proceeding thence in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 650 yards across portion of the Hutt Valley Electric Power District, the route of the said line being shown by a red line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 716 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.”

PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


O R D E R

  1. This order may be cited as the Golden Downs Rural Fire District Order 1948, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the order constituting the Golden Downs Rural Fire District made on the 1st day of December 1948* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. The principal order may hereinafter be cited as the Golden Downs Rural Fire District Order 1948.

  3. The Schedule to the principal order is hereby amended by omitting the Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this order.

“ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing approximately 80,000 acres situated in Blocks V, VI, IX, X, XIII, XIV, Wai-iti Survey District, Blocks I, II, V, VI, VII, IX, X, XI, XIII, XIV, Gordon Survey District, Blocks IV, VIII, XII, XVI, Tadmor Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Motupiko Survey District. Bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 6, Block V, Wai-iti Survey District; thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 5 and 16, Block V and Section 3, Block VI, Wai-iti Survey District, in a southerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 1 and 2, Block VI aforesaid, and in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of Section 2, Block VI aforesaid; thence in a southerly and easterly direction along the western and southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 1759, Block VI, Wai-iti Survey District, in a southerly direction generally along the eastern boundaries of Sections 2 and 14, Block VI aforesaid, in a westerly direction generally along the northern and western boundaries of Section 27, Block VI aforesaid, and in a southerly direction along the western boundary of Section 18, Block VI aforesaid; thence in a southerly direction generally along the western boundaries of Sections 14, 13, and 9 all in Block X, Wai-iti Survey District, and in an easterly and southerly direction along the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 6, Block X aforesaid; thence in a southerly direction generally along the eastern boundaries of Sections 5 and 3, Block X aforesaid, the eastern boundaries of Sections 20 and 21, Block XIV, Wai-iti Survey District, and in a westerly direction along the southern boundary of Section 21 aforesaid; thence in a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundaries of part Section 83 and Lot 1, D.P. 6129, both in Square 4, Block XIV, Wai-iti Survey District; thence in a south-westerly direction generally along the south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 6129 aforesaid, and Section 85, D.P. 1685, Square 4, Block XIV, Wai-iti Survey District to the northernmost corner of Section 8, Block II, Gordon Survey District; thence in a south-easterly and south-westerly direction generally along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 8 aforesaid; thence in a southerly direction generally along the eastern boundaries of Sections 20 and 23, Block II, Gordon Survey District, across a public road and south and east generally along the north-eastern boundary of Section 24, Block II aforesaid; thence in a north-easterly direction along the northern boundaries of Sections 15 and 11, Block II, Gordon Survey District, in a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundary of Section 11 aforesaid, by a right line across railway reserve and a public road, and along the south-eastern side of this public road to the westernmost corner of Section 7, Square 4, Blocks II and III, Gordon Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction along the south-western boundary of Section 7 aforesaid and Section 16, Blocks II and III, Gordon Survey District; thence in a southerly direction generally, along the western bank of the Wai-iti River to the northernmost corner of part Section 2, D.P. 961, Blocks VI and VII, Gordon Survey District; thence in a south-westerly direction along the north-western boundary of part Section 2 aforesaid; thence in a southerly direction generally along the western boundaries of parts Sections 2, 51, and 52, D.P. 961, Blocks VI and VII, Gordon Survey District, and in a north-easterly direction generally along the southern boundary of part Section 52, D.P. 961 aforesaid; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern bank of the Wai-iti River; thence in a north-easterly direction along the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 1496, to the northernmost corner of Section 60, Wai-iti Hills District, Block VII, Gordon Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundary, a south-westerly direction along the south-eastern boundary, and in a north-westerly direction along the south-western boundary of Section 60 aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of part Section 3, D.P. 747, Block VII, Gordon Survey District; thence in a westerly direction along the southern boundary of part Section 3 aforesaid to a public road; thence in a southerly direction along the western bank of the right branch of the Wai-iti River, and in a westerly direction along the southern boundary of Section 2, Block XI, Gordon Survey District; thence in a southerly direction generally along the eastern boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. 84, and part Sections 3 and 16, Square 45, Blocks X, XI, XIV, Gordon Survey District, and in a southerly
