The Roman Catholic Bishops Empowering Act 1954

NOTICE is hereby given that the Roman Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Wellington has by transmission 669837 made application under the Roman Catholic Bishops Empowering Act 1954 to be registered as proprietor of an estate in fee simple in all that piece of land containing 19 acres 3 roods, situate in the Provincial District of Wellington, known as Pukekaraka No. 5 on the public map of the Waitohu Survey District deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and being the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 58, folio 38 (Wellington Registry), of which the Right Reverend Francis Redwood, Roman Catholic Bishop of Wellington, and Hakaria Rangikura, of Otaki, a Maori within the meaning of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (both deceased), are registered as proprietors and that such application will be registered unless caveat forbidding the same be lodged within two months after 16 June 1966 by any person claiming the beneficial ownership of any estate or interest in such land.

EVIDENCE having been furnished to me of the loss of outstanding duplicate of certificate of title, Volume 247, folio 42 (Wellington Registry), in the name of Charles Edward Darvill, of Taihape, accountant (now deceased), for 20 perches being part Section 10, Block VI, Township of Taihape, and application 669554, having been made to me to issue a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, I hereby give notice of my intention to issue such new certificate of title on the expiration of 14 days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
