At the Government House at Wellington this 18th day of
January 1966
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart
the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto
as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place
and marae for the common use and benefit of the Arawa
Confederation of Tribes and of the Maoris resident in the
locality.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that portion of road known as Mount Hamilton Road
situated in Block VII, Centre Hill Survey District, commencing
at the northern boundary of Block XIII and proceeding
thence generally in a northerly direction through Section 13,
Section 12, and Run 188B, Block VII, Centre Hill Survey
District, for a distance of approximately 1 mile and 61 chains;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 19992 (S.O. 7418) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
