Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of Street at Upper Hutt
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Upper Hutt Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land allocated to street:
A. R. P. Railway land being
0 0 1·5 Part Section 128, Hutt District.
Situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, Borough of Upper Hutt (S.O. 26280).
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 20568, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of January 1966.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being Provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 16th day of March 1920, and published in Gazette, 25 March 1920, Volume I, page 923, is required for settlement purposes, and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

PART of Kuaotunu 3A Block, situated in Block VII, Otama Survey District: Area, 101 acres 3 roods, more or less (S.O. 43190).

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Haywards Substation).

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 16·2 perches situated in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being part right of way on D.P. 8199, being part Section 196A, Hutt District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19843 (S.O. 25921) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of December 1965.

Land Taken for a Recreation Ground in the Borough of Glen Eden

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation ground and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Glen Eden, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 31st day of January 1966.
