Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IX, Kaitawa Survey
District, Hutt County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work,
namely, the reconstruction of a road (improvements to Otai-
hanga corner of the Paraparaumu-Waikanae section of the
Awanui-Bluff State Highway No. 1), and for the purposes
of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given
that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited
in the post office at Paraparaumu and is there open for
inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the
said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if
they have any objections to the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to
the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same
in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days
of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works
in Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accord-
ance with the notice, a public hearing of the objection will be
held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 13·8 perches situated in
Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being
part Ngarara West A 54 B2; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 20249 (S.O. 26214)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured blue.

Rata Bridge on the No. 1 State Highway)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provi-
sions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain
public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the
purposes of that public work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken
is deposited in the post office at Hunterville and is there open
for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of
the said public work or by the taking of the said land should,
if they have any objections to the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections
to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same
in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of
the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of

Licensing Owen Garth Woolley to Erect a Duckwalk and Jetty
on Foreshore and Bed of the Tamaki River, Auckland

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licences and permits Owen Garth Woolley (hereinafter
called the licensee, which term shall include his executors,
administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different
construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and
bed of the Tamaki River, as shown on plan marked M.D.
12188 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department
at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a duck-
walk and jetty, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be
held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the
terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
    tions 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
    far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day
    of May 1966.
  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds
    (£5) ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee
    shall be six pounds (£6) ($12).

Licensing Mizen and Delamore Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part
of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Mercury Island as a
Site for a Cattle Race

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Mizen and Delamore Ltd. (herein-
after called the licensee, which term shall include its successors
or assigns unless the context requires a different construction)
to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea
at Mercury Island, as shown on plan marked M.D. 5821 and
deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Welling-
ton, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a cattle race as
shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed
by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions
set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
tions 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far
as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day
of May 1966.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be three
pounds (£3) ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the
licensee shall be five pounds (£5) ($10).

Licensing Stephen Godfrey Guard to Use and Occupy a Part
of the Foreshore at Pukatea Bay, French Pass, as a Site
for a Slipway

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licences and permits Stephen Godfrey Guard (herein-
after called the licensee, which term shall include his executors,
administrators, or assigns unless the context requires a different
construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and
bed of the sea at Pukatea Bay, French Pass, as shown on plan
marked M.D. 9300 and deposited in the office of the Marine
Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining
thereon a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to
be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the
terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
tions 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far
as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day
of February 1966.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be five

licensee shall be four pounds (£4) ($8).

Amending Licence Authorising Owen Garth Woolley to Use
and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore on the Tamaki River
as a Site for a Boatbuilding Shed and Slipway

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby further amends the licence issued to Owen Garth
Woolley on 1 February 1954, as amended on 29 October
1956†, by the insertion of the expression "and M.D. 12188"
after the symbols "M.D. 10092".
