DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE—RENEWAL LOANS, 1966

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the renewal loans detailed in the Schedule hereunder, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refinancing 4 per cent loans due for repayment during the current financial year, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·2627d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loans and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loans, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loans are fully paid off.”

NOTICE OF MAKING OF SPECIAL ORDER TO RAISE LOAN

PURSUANT to section 13 (2A) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that the special order to raise a loan of £2,000, to be known as the Temporary Chlorination Plant Loan 1965, £2,000, for the purpose of providing a temporary chlorination plant for the borough’s water supply, has been duly made in terms of the relevant statutes, and that 5 per cent or more of the ratepayers have not demanded that a poll be taken on the proposal.

WHANGAREI CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of the City of Whangarei District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned change to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the City of Whangarei was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 6th day of April 1966.

The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned change to the district scheme shall come into operation on the 18th day of April 1966.

A copy of the scheme change as approved has been deposited in the Council’s office and in the public library and may be inspected without fee by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

CITY OF AUCKLAND

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of City of Auckland District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on 6 April 1966, the Council has recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto.

The changes of the district scheme as now recommended by the Council, have been deposited in the Town Hall (town planning division), the central library, and each of the branch libraries, namely Avondale, Epsom, Grafton, Grey Lynn, Parnell, Point Chevalier, Remuera, Glen Innes, Tamaki, and Leys Institute, for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objection to the proposed changes of the District Scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect marked “Objection to Scheme Change” and lodged in the office of the Council at any time not later than 3 June 1966. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available from the Town Hall or from the libraries.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

APPLICATION has been made to the above company to issue a new certificate of title in lieu of original certificate No. Z.6288 and certificate No. 50393, both issued in the name of Bernadette Lucy McQuilkin, of 28 Fendalton Road, Christchurch, and the said Bernadette Lucy McQuilkin has made a statutory declaration that the original certificate of title to the said stock has been lost.

Notice is hereby given that unless within 30 days from the date hereof there is made to the company, some claim or representation in respect of the said original certificates, new certificates will be issued in place thereof.
