Agreement for Grant of Easements in Favour of Thomas John Nelson and James Devine Nelson, both of Tuhua, Farmers, Over Land Situated in Block I, Rangi Survey District, Tauranga County, Held for a Public School, Assented to

WHEREAS by a Declaration dated the 17th day of March 1966, and published in the Gazette of 31 March 1966, Volume I, page 571, all that piece of land containing 1 acre and 12·9 perches, being part Section 10, Block XI, Tangitu Survey District, was taken for a public school:

And whereas Thomas John Nelson and James Devine Nelson, both of Tuhua, farmers, were entitled to compensation in respect of their interest in the said land:

And whereas the Minister of Works agreed to vest in the said Thomas John Nelson and James Devine Nelson a portion of the adjoining land held for a public school and to grant to them rights of way over portion of the balance of the said adjoining land, less payment of a sum of money made by them, in full satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid:

And whereas the said Thomas John Nelson and James Devine Nelson agreed to accept such vesting of land and such grant of rights of way, less payment of a sum of money made by them, in full satisfaction of the said compensation:

Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice in pursuance of section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928 and section 15 of the Broadcasting Corporation Act 1961, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Broadcasting Corporation Act 1961 (transmitter site) and shall vest in the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation from and after the 18th day of April 1966.

Declaring Land and an Easement Over Land Taken for Post Office Purposes (V.H.F. Station) in Block V, Ongo Survey District, Rangitikei County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for post office purposes (V.H.F. station); and also declares that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees from time to time, and at all times hereafter, to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the said First Schedule, such easement to be held appurtenant thereto, from and after the 18th day of April 1966.
