Amending Notice to the Open Season for Game in Certain Acclimatisation Districts

THE Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the notice published in the Gazette, No. 13, of 10 March 1966, at page 341, relating to the open season for game in certain acclimatisation districts, is amended as follows:

1. In that portion of the Second Schedule which relates to the Whangarei Acclimatisation District:
   By deleting the following:
   Pukeko, 7 May to 29 May inclusive
   and substituting the following:
   Pukeko, 7 May to 12 June inclusive.

2. In that portion of the Second Schedule which relates to the Mangonui-Whangaroa Acclimatisation District:
   By deleting the following:
   California and Australian quail and cook pheasants, 7 May to 12 June inclusive
   and substituting the following:
   California and Australian quail and cook pheasants, 7 May to 3 July inclusive.

Amending Notice to the Open Season for Game in Certain Acclimatisation Districts

THE Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the notice published in the Gazette, No. 15, of 17 March 1966, at page 375, relating to the open season for game in certain acclimatisation districts, is amended as follows:

1. In that portion of the Second Schedule which relates to the Nelson Acclimatisation District:
   By deleting the following:
   Pukeko, 7 May to 12 June inclusive
   and substituting the following:
   Pukeko, 7 May to 6 June inclusive.

2. In that portion of the Second Schedule which relates to the Southland Acclimatisation District:
   (a) By deleting the following closed game areas:
   (2) All that part of the Southland Acclimatisation Society District north of the Monowai River and west of the Waiau River.
   (4) Northern Southland Closed Game Area—All that land lying between the Southland Acclimatisation Society’s northern and the following described boundary: Commencing at Te Anau Hill on the Society’s north-western boundary, thence south-easterly to Mount Prospect; thence south-westerly to Danby Hill; thence south to Trig. Station G.S., Block II, Mararoa Survey District; thence north-east to Chimney Hut; thence westerly along the formed motor road to the Oreti River at a point known as Gibraltar Rock; thence north-easterly to Jane Peak on the Society’s north-eastern boundary.

(b) And by substituting the following closed game area:
(2) Northern Southland Closed Game Area—All that land lying between the Southland Acclimatisation Society’s northern and the following described boundary: Commencing at Te Anau Hill on the Society’s north-western boundary, thence south-easterly to Mount Prospect; thence south-westerly to Danby Hill; thence south to Trig.
