Appointment of High Commissioner for New Zealand in Ceylon

HIS Excellency the Governor-General in Council has been pleased to appoint James Esmond Farrell to be High Commissioner for New Zealand in Ceylon under and for the purposes of the External Affairs Act 1943, to hold the said office as on and from the 10th day of February 1966, to the 20th day of October 1967.

Stipendiary Magistrate Appointed

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1947 HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint William Henry Freeman, Esquire, of Thames, a retired Magistrate, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, to hold and exercise the duties of that office from the 13th day of March 1966 to the 2nd day of April 1966, both days inclusive.

Stipendiary Magistrate Appointed to Exercise Jurisdiction in the Children's Court

PURSUANT to section 27 of the Child Welfare Act 1925, HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint William Henry Freeman, Esquire, of Thames, a retired Magistrate, to exercise jurisdiction in the Children's Court established at New Plymouth for the period from the 13th day of March 1966 to the 2nd day of April 1966, both days inclusive.

Appointment of the Marlborough County Council to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Marlborough County Council to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for a resting place for travelling stock.
