A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of April 1966.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Mata Survey District, Waiapu County, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 20198 (S.O. 5598) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 0·6 of a perch situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, City of Auckland, North Auckland R.D., and being part of Lot 26, on a subdivision of Allotment 10, Section 46 of the City of Auckland. All certificate of title, Volume 1072, folio 293 (limited as to parcels and title), North Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of March 1966.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 4th day of April 1966

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 3 of the National Roads Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints as from 13 April 1966
the Honourable Percy Benjamin Allen
to be Chairman of the National Roads Board, and further appoints as from 13 April 1966, the following persons to be members of the Board:
Brian Creagh Magill, Esquire, Assistant Commissioner of Works (Administration), Ministry of Works;
James Henderson Macky, Esquire, Director of Roading, Ministry of Works;
Raymond Joseph Polaschek, Esquire, Commissioner of Transport, Transport Department;
Neil Buchanan Hunt, Esquire, M.B.E., of Rotorua, retired farmer, and
William Baird, Esquire, of Dipton, retired farmer, being the nominee of the New Zealand Counties’ Association Incorporated;
Alister Murray Linton, Esquire, of Rotorua, company director, being the nominee of the Municipal Association of New Zealand Incorporated as representing those boroughs having a population of twenty thousand or more;
John Samuel Thorn, Esquire, of Port Chalmers, company director, being the nominee of the Municipal Association of New Zealand Incorporated as representing those boroughs having a population of less than twenty thousand and town districts;
Donald Derek Merritt, Esquire, of Nelson, company director, to represent the interests of persons being owners of commercial motor vehicles; and
William Henry Brown, Esquire, of Palmerston North, company director, to represent the interests of persons being owners of private motor vehicles.
