The Standards Act 1941—British Standards, Revisions,

and Amendments Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941,
notice is hereby given that the British standards, revisions, and
amendments listed in the Schedule hereto are being considered for
adoption as New Zealand standard specifications. All persons
who may be affected by them and who desire to comment thereon
may, on application, obtain copies on loan from the New Zealand
Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or
Private Bag, Wellington C.1.

Requests should specify that copies are required for comment
purposes.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 7 April 1966.

The Standards Act 1941—Standard Specifications Revoked

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Standards Act 1941 and
regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and
Commerce, on 15 March 1966, revoked the standard specifications
listed in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

LIST OF REVOKED STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS

NZSS 603:1948 Special salt-glazed ware pipes with acid
resistant properties; being BS 1143:1943 amended to meet
New Zealand requirements.

NZSS GP 12:1954 Liquid toilet soap for general purposes.
(Superseded by NZSS 2043:1966)

Whareroa Development Scheme Amending Notice 1966, No. 1

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule
hereto the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now
subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953:

Now therefore pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Whareroa Development
    Scheme Amending Notice 1966, No. 1.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
    hereby amended by omitting all reference to the lands described
    in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are
    hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act
