NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR SERVICE LANES

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its respective amendments, notice is hereby given that the Taumarunui Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the abovementioned Act and all other Acts, powers, and authorities it enabling in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, the opening and formation of service lanes, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is required to be taken for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said pieces of land so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Council, situate in Huia Street, Taumarunui, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and notice is hereby further given that every person affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said pieces of land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said pieces of land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send such objection, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Taumarunui Borough Council at its offices situate as aforesaid. If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing. At such hearing of any objection the objector shall be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Petone Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and of all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, to execute a certain public work, namely, street widening: and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said council, situate in Jackson Street, and is open for inspection, without fee, for all persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the works or the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the said Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Jackson Street, Petone.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act 1924, the Public Works Act 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and their respective amendments, notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work, namely, in connection with street widening at the intersection of Bond Street and Lombard Street, in the City of Wellington, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, send his written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk, at his said office, and notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made as aforesaid a public hearing of that objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of that hearing and at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.
