Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the
reserve for recreation purposes described in the First Schedule
hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Whangarei and City of Whangarei

It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to
His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12
of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area
described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County
of Whangarei and included in the City of Whangarei. All
persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of
boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to,
or petitions against, the proposed alteration with the Minister
of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the
date of publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Whanga-
rei County, containing 172 acres, more or less, bounded by a
line commencing at the northernmost corner of that part
Allotment 2, Parahaki Parish, shown on D.P. 17205, in Block
IX, Whangarei Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly
and south-easterly generally along the north-western bounda-
ries of parts Allotments S.W. 94 and N.E. 94, Parahaki Parish,
the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P.
46522 and the north-eastern boundary of part Allotment N.E.
94 aforesaid, and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1,
