SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area of land situated in the Borough of Petone bounded on the south by the Esplanade; on the west by a line running along the western side of the Lots adjoining the western side of Victoria Street from the Esplanade to Jackson Street, then running in an easterly direction along Jackson Street to the junction of Scholes Lane, then running in a northerly direction along Scholes Lane for a distance of approximately 16 chains; on the east by a line running along Buick Street from the Esplanade to Jackson Street, then in a westerly direction along Jackson Street to the junction of Britannia Street, then in a northerly direction along Britannia Street for a distance of approximately 10 chains then at right angles in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 4 chains, then at right angles in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 7 chains; on the north by a line running from and at right angles to Scholes Lane in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 4 chains to intersect the boundary of Deposited Plan 182 and Deeds Plan 109.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19211 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Additional Land Taken for Tree Planting and Land Taken as an Extension to the Public Reserve Known as the Tahunas Sands Reserve in the City of Nelson

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land first described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for tree planting and the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken as an extension to the public reserve known as the Tahunas Sands Reserve and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Nelson as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of February 1965.
