NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, notice is
hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes
under the above-mentioned Act to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road and to close
portion of the road described in the Second Schedule hereto,
and notice is further given that a plan of the land so to be
taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk of the above
council, situated at Te Kuiti and open for public inspection
(without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours. All
persons affected by the taking of the said land or the closing
of portion of the said road who have any objections thereto
must state their objections in writing and lodge same at the
office of the County Clerk within 40 days of the first publication of this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wallace County Council
proposes, in pursuance of the Public Works Act 1928, to take
the land in the Schedule hereto for road for addition to the
Dipton-Mossburn Road. A plan of the portions of land
proposed to be taken is available for public inspection,
without fee, at the office of the Wallace County Council,
Otautau, and all persons objecting to the proposal must lodge

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners’ Flats Additional Loan 1965 of £6,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £6,000 authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
meeting the additional cost of erecting flats for aged persons,
the said Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate
of 0·01d. in the £ on the rateable value of all rateable
property within the City of Gisborne; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Gisborne City Council held on 7 December 1965.

HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hastings City Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £18,800 authorised to be raised by the Hastings City
Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the
repayment on maturity of the balance of the Duplication of
Water Mains Loan 1939, £22,900, Water and Drainage Loan
1939, £19,800, and Nelson Park Grandstand Loan 1959,
£80,000, to make a special rate of six one hundredths of one
penny (·06d.) in the pound upon the unimproved value of
all rateable property in the City of Hastings, comprising the
whole of the city; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be
payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Abattoir Loan 1965, £17,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £17,000 authorised to be raised by the Feilding
Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities
Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of a staff amenities building
at the Abattoir (£2,000) and erecting a building with boiler
to be used for the disposal of offal from the Municipal Abattoir
(£15,000), the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal one three three pence (·133d.) in
the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough
of Feilding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on
9 December 1965.
