Declaring Land Taken for Railway Purposes in Whakamaru

Survey District (Mangakino Township)
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Government
Railways Act 1949, the Minister of Railways hereby declares
that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered
into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for railway purposes. This declaration shall take effect from
and after the 20th day of December 1965.

Result of Ballot Under National Military Service Act 1961

PURSUANT to section 10 (2) of the National Military Service
Act 1961, the Minister of Labour hereby gives notice that in a
ballot pursuant to the above Act covering persons born in
the four-monthly period which commenced on 1 July 1945
and ended on 31 October 1945, the following dates of birth
were drawn:
July: 1, 3, 5, 8, 16, 19, 24.
August: 3, 4, 11, 14, 18, 19, 20, 28, 30.
September: 1, 15, 18, 23, 24, 27, 28, 30.
October: 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 16, 17, 21, 25.
The persons whose birth dates as recorded in their applications for registration correspond with the dates drawn in the
ballot are the persons liable to perform service and will later
receive notices requiring them to report for medical
examination.
