NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

City of Napier District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for Section 66 (Ahuriri Lagoon) and Section 7 (Pirimai), of the City of Napier District Scheme, was approved by the council by resolution passed at its meeting, held on the 29th day of November 1965, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the board had been incorporated. The council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 1966.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the council’s office and in the Napier Public Library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Change of City of Napier District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Napier City Council passed on the 29th day of November 1965, a change of the City of Napier District Scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The changes relate only to Section 3 (Maraenui-Onekawa South). The proposed changes to the scheme have been deposited in the Napier Public Library and the Town Clerk’s and City Engineer’s offices, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and are there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than the 19th day of January 1966. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

Christchurch Regional Planning Scheme—Section One—Rural Zone Modification No. 3, 1965

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the Christchurch Regional Planning Scheme, Section One, Rural Zone, (Modification No. 3, 1965) has been approved under the provisions of section 10 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and amendments, and shall become operative on 23 December 1965.

Copies of the modification, as approved, will be deposited in the offices of the Christchurch Regional Planning Authority, Christchurch City Council, Kaiapoi Borough Council, Riccarton Borough Council, Eyre County Council, Halswell County Council, Heathcote County Council, Paparua County Council, Waimairi County Council, and in every public library in the region and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

2. The land which by Modification No. 3 is excluded from or included within the provisions of the Christchurch Regional Planning Scheme 1959, Section One, Rural Zone, as modified by Modification No. 1, 1960, is shown on Regional Planning Map No. 2c, (Sheets 1 and 2).

3. The modified Obstruction Clearance Areas for Wigram Airfield as supplied by the Minister of Works in the Notice of Requirement, dated 23 September 1965, are shown on Regional Planning Map No. 2c (Sheet 2).

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Ohawe Township Water Supply Area taken on 2 December 1965, on the proposal of the above-named local authority, to raise a loan of £9,900 to be known as Ohawe Township Water Supply Loan 1965, £9,900, for the purpose of supplying water to the Ohawe Township Water Supply Area, resulted as follows:

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

For the purposes of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, notice is hereby given:

(a) Of the making, for the purposes of each of the sections of that Act specified in the Schedule hereunder, of the relevant agreement or agreements specified in that Schedule fixing for the purposes of that section the agreed date or the agreed dates specified in that Schedule:

(b) That the enactments specified in subsection (9) of section 43 of that Act were repealed by that subsection on the 1st day of April 1964, that being the agreed date for the purposes of that subsection:

(c) That the enactments specified in subsection (9) of section 44 of that Act were repealed on the 1st day of November 1964, that being the agreed date for the purposes of that section.
