In addition to the above stated objections the following requirements have been made in respect of the district scheme—
- Minister of Works—
(a) Designating the route of the “proposed motorway”
between Porirua and Paremata.
(b) Designating a property at the corner of Main and Tireti
Roads, Titahi Bay, as “telephone exchange”.
(c) Designating land adjacent to the proposed motorway
between Porirua and Paremata as “Proposed Post-
primary and Intermediate School”.
(d) Land at the rear of Mana College to be designated as
“Post-primary school”.
(e) Land at Kalingo Street shown as Childrens’ Play Area
to be designated as “Primary School”.
(f) Provision is to be made for a “Proposed Air Navigation
Aid” in an area of about 2 acres on land known as
the Mungavin Block. An appropriate identifying
symbol is to be incorporated on the district planning
map.
(g) In Ordinance IV, clause 4, words are to be added
requiring the council to obtain the concurrence of
the District Commissioner of Works, Wellington,
to any scheme of subdivision within which there is
a site for a public work with a location shown only
approximately in the district planning map and for
which the Minister has a financial responsibility.
NOTE—In respect of these requirements any person who wishes to be heard in support of or in opposition to any one of them shall notify the council accordingly at least three days before the date of the hearing of objections.

THE MINING ACT 1926
APPLICATION FOR A WATER RACE
NOTICE is hereby given that Stanley Francis De Silva, of Coal Creek, orchardist, has applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Cromwell, by application No. 119/1965 for a water race licence to divert one-third head of water from the Clutha River at a point approximately 50 yd above the mouth of Slaughterhouse Creek, in Block II, Teviot S.D., by a race approximately 314 yd long, running westerly through river bank reserve and Sections 67 and 104, said Block II, for irrigation, frostfighting, and domestic supply.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
CHANGE OF PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND HELD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Matamata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to change the purpose for which it holds the land described in the Schedule hereto, originally acquired and at present held by the said council as a site for a public hall, to a site for public offices; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the said land is deposited in the public office of the clerk of the above council, situated at Tirau, and is there open for inspection (without fee) during ordinary office hours. Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to the proposed change of purpose must state his objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, Tirau.

All that piece of land situated in Bonaly Street, Tokoroa, containing 15.3 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, on Deposited Plan S. 9670, and being also part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 2p, folio 927, South Auckland Registry.

PURSUANT to the Pharmacy Board Election Regulations 1962, notice is hereby given of the results of an election of members of the Pharmacy Board of New Zealand held on 24 November 1965.
Auckland District: R. F. D. Crosby, J. M. Dickey, and P. G. Ludgate, being the only candidates nominated, I declare them to be duly elected.
Wellington District: J. H. Berry, C. A. Fredericksen, and D. E. McArthur, being the only candidates nominated, I declare them to be duly elected.
Canterbury District: D. J. Diack and S. J. Wilson, being the only candidates nominated, I declare them to be duly elected.
Otago District: W. A. Baylis being the only nomination, I declare him duly elected.
North Island: Three candidates being nominated, the poll resulted—

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR THE PURPOSES OF DRAINAGE WORKS
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Rotorua County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, drainage works in the County of Rotorua, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the above council and situated at corner of Ranolf and Amohau Streets, Rotorua, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land who have any objections they may wish to make to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must set forth their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers at corner Ranolf and Amohau Streets, Rotorua.
