Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964,* the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Closely Populated Locality Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

Revocation of Approval to Issue Warrants of Fitness

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds Shall be Utilised
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for public purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Mataura Borough Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds of any such sale to be paid into the general funds of the council.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Murupara Borough Council
PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for aerodrome purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Murupara, in trust, for that purpose, subject to the terms of an agreement between Her Majesty the Queen and the Murupara Borough Council dated the 8th day of June 1965, a copy of which is deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington as Auckland Deed No. 5552.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Golden Bay County Council
PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as reserves for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserves in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Golden Bay, in trust, for that purpose.

Addition to Rules of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby approves the following new rule made by the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society as an addition to the rules of that society:
Rule 12 (4)—
“The Council shall, within a period of 28 days, inform all members of decisions made on recommendations carried at Annual or Special General Meetings and shall give detailed reasons for recommendations not adopted.”
