Declaring Land Taken for Road in Blocks XIII and XIV, Apiti Survey District, Kiwitea County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road from and after the 29th day of November 1965.

Foreshore Licence—Wairoa River, Northland, Site for Barge Landing Slip—Raupo Concrete Products Ltd.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Raupo Concrete Products Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore in the Wairoa River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9286 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a barge landing slip as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).

3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from 1 November 1965.

4. The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

Foreshore Licence at Taieri Mouth Amended

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 3 July 1962* authorising Ian Alfred Fraser and Lawrence Murray Fraser to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Taieri River by:

(a) Inserting after the symbols “M.D. 2962” the symbols “and M.D. 12156.”

(b) Amending in the Second Schedule, the charge relating to the annual rental by omitting the words “three pounds (£3)” and substituting the words “five pounds (£5)”.

Amending Foreshore Licence Granted to Julian Logan Ltd. at Matakana Harbour, Takatu Peninsula

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence made on 22 June 1955* authorising Julian Logan Ltd., of Auckland, to use and occupy the foreshore and land below low water mark at Matakana Harbour, Takatu Peninsula as a site for a ramp and a site for a vessel to be used as a hopper by:

(a) Omitting the words “Julian Logan Ltd.” and substituting “Auckland Water Transport (1964) Co. Ltd.”, and

(b) Inserting after the symbols “M.D. 9871” the symbols “and M.D. 12052”; and

(c) Omitting the words “A vessel to be used as a hopper for gravel” and substituting the words “three vessels to be used as gravel hoppers.”

Land in the North Auckland Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.
