Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being Provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 4th day of May 1949, and published in Gazette, 12 May 1949, Volume II, page 1003, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.


SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

PART of Section 8, Block IV, Aongatete Survey District: Area, 13 acres 10 perches, more or less.

Also, part of Section 9, Block IV, Aongatete Survey District: Area, 24 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/92/77B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 42772.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of February 1965.

Declaring Lands in South Auckland and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the South Auckland and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

LOT 1, D.P. 18864, being part Section 105, Selwyn Settlement, situated in Block XII, Patetere North Survey District: Area, 5 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, volume 429, folio 102.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Declaring Land in Canterbury Land District, Vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a Site for a Public School to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.


SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

RESERVE 3650, situated in Block VI, Waiaru Survey District: Area, 8 acres, more or less (S.O. Plan 1515L).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of February 1965.
