IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Craighead and Bartlett Ltd., notice is hereby given that, by an entry in its minute book signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named company on the 29th day of October 1965, passed a resolution for voluntary winding up, and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will accordingly be held at 72 Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on Monday, 8 November 1965, at 11 a.m.

Consideration of a statement of the position of the company’s affairs and list of creditors, etc.
Nomination of a liquidator.
Appointment of committee of inspection if thought fit.

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Sullivan Furniture Co. Ltd (in receivership and in liquidation), notice is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of Sullivan Furniture Co. Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 25th day of November 1965 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

WAIMATE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
THAT, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimate County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £21,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimate County Council under the above-mentioned Act for rural housing, the said Waimate County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·035d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of the County of Waimate; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Waimate County Council held on 28 September 1965.

RESOLUTION TO MAKE A SECURITY RATE
——
Sewer Renewal Loan No. 2, 1965, £23,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-three thousand pounds (£23,000) authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewer Loan 1955, £100,000, issue of £30,000, which matures on 1 December 1965, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of twenty-four thousandths of a penny (0·024d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 27th day of October 1965.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Rural Housing Loan No. 8, 1965, £100,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five four five five of a penny (·05455d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Waikato; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
