of the above-named company will be held at the office of Messrs Lake, Glynn, and Smith, 146 Gloucester Street, Christchurch, on Wednesday, 10 November 1965, at 2.15 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Further Business:
To consider and if thought fit to pass the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution, namely:
“That the books and papers of the company and of the liquidator shall be retained by the liquidator for a period of five years.”

Notice of Meeting of Creditors

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Kelly Electrical Industries Ltd., notice is hereby given that, by an entry in its minute book signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named company, on the 13th day of October 1965, passed a resolution for voluntary winding up, and the Official Assignee was appointed provisional liquidator. A meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will accordingly be held at the Chamber of Commerce Hall, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, on Thursday, 21 October 1965, at 3.30 p.m.

Business:

  1. Consideration of a statement of position of the company’s affairs and list of creditors, etc.
  2. Nomination of liquidator.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 269 of the Companies Act 1955, that by special resolution the members of this company resolved, on the 18th day of October 1965 (by entry in the minute book pursuant to section 362 of the Act), inter alia, as follows:
“That the company be wound up voluntarily by the members (a statutory declaration of solvency having been filed).”

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Armstrong Investments Ltd. (in liquidation), the liquidator of Armstrong Investments Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily by its members, doth hereby fix the 15th day of November 1965 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

“That the books and papers of the company shall remain in the custody of the liquidator.”
