The Standards Act 1941—Amendment of Standard Specification
Pursuant to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 31 August 1965, amended the under-mentioned standard specification by the incorporation of the amendment shown hereunder:
Number and Title of Specification: NZSS 1661:1962 Linemen’s safety belts.
Amendment: No. 1.
Application for copies of the standard specification so amended should be made to the N.Z. Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1, or to the Government Bookshops at Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin.
Copies of the amendment will be supplied, free of charge, upon request.

Bylaw Prohibiting the Towing of Caravans on No. 6 State Highway Between Harihari and The Neck, Hawea, on 6 November 1965
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962 and the National Roads Act 1953 and to all other powers and authorities in any wise enabling it, the National Roads Board has made the following bylaw.

This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board Bylaw 1965, No. 5.

This bylaw shall come into force on 6 November 1965.

No person shall tow or cause or permit to be towed any caravan on that section of No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) between Harihari and The Neck, Hawea, on 6 November 1965.

Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £25.
This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board held in Wellington on the 15th day of September 1965.

Varying Notice of Declaration of State Highway
Pursuant to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works, hereby gives notice that it cancels the varying notices of declaration of State highway dated 20 October 1960 and 7 May 1963, published in the Gazette, 20 October 1960 and 9 May 1963, respectively, and varies the notice declaring public highways to be State highways dated 9 March 1960, published in the Gazette, 24 March 1960, Volume I, page 384, by deleting from the First Schedule to the said notice the paragraph described in the First Schedule hereto, and substituting therefor the paragraph set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
Paragraph deleted from the South Island section of Part I of the Schedule to the said notice:
“No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) — . . .”
SECOND SCHEDULE
Paragraph substituted in the South Island section of Part I of the Schedule to the said notice:
“No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) — Commencing at Blenheim and proceeding thence to Invercargill via Renwick, Havelock, Rai Valley, Nelson, Richmond, Brightwater, Wakefield, Belgrove, Spooners Hill, Korere, Clark Valley, Hope Hill, Kawatiri, Murchison, O’Sullivan’s Bridge, Lyall, Inangahua Junction, Westport Junction, Charleston, Tiromoana, Punakaiki, Barrytown, Rapahoe, Runanga, Greymouth, Paroa, Kumara Junction, Hokitika, Kaniere, Rimu, Ross, Harihari, Wataroa, The Forks, Waiho, Weheka, Karangarua, Bruce Bay, Mahitahi, Haast, Makarora, and proceeding via Lake Wanaka, Lake Hawea, and Albert Town to its junction with No. 89 State Highway; thence via Luggate, Queensbury, Lowburn, and Kawarau Gorge to Queenstown, returning from Queenstown via Frankton, Garston, Athol, Lumsden, Caroline, Dipton, Winton, Lochiel, Makarewa, and Waikiwi to Invercargill.”

Pursuant to regulation 6 of the Tuberculosis Regulations 1951, the Director-General of Health hereby gives notice that the following medical practitioners, additional to those contained in Gazette, No. 52, dated 10 August 1961, page 1268, have been approved as qualified to perform vaccinations against tuberculosis in accordance with the provisions of the aforesaid regulations.

Owaka Rabbit District Divided Into Wards (Notice No. Ag. 8264).
Pursuant to section 14A of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Owaka Rabbit Board hereby declares the Owaka Rabbit District, which was constituted on the 30th day of April 1963,* to be divided into wards having the names and boundaries specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE OWAKA WARD
All that area in the Owaka Rabbit District, containing 62,600 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station Z, Wisp Hill, Catlins Survey District, and proceeding generally north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the Owaka Rabbit District, as described in Gazette, 1963, page 613, to the sea coast at Tucks Bay, Glenomaru Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the sea coast to the middle of the mouth of the Catlins River; thence generally north-westerly up the middle of the Catlins River to a point in line with the south-eastern side of Chloris Pass Road; thence generally north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the Owaka Rabbit District to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF THE CATLINS WARD
All that area in the Owaka Rabbit District, containing 69,200 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Block X, Rimu Survey District, and proceeding generally easterly and northerly along the northern and western boundaries of the Owaka Rabbit District, as described in Gazette, 1963, page 613, to the middle of the Catlins River; thence generally south-easterly down the middle of that river to the sea coast; thence generally south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the Owaka Rabbit District to the point of commencement.
