Inviting Proposals for the Otamatea County District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Otamatea County Council, at its meeting held on the 15th day of September 1965, has resolved to prepare for the Otamatea County a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.
Proposals marked “Otamatea County District Scheme” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the Council Chambers, Paparoa, on or before the 31st day of January 1966.

BOROUGH OF HOWICK

Howick District Scheme (Area 2) Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Howick, Area 2, was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 14th day of September 1965, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 15th day of October 1965.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

PAPATOETOE BOROUGH COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, regulation 32 (8), notice is hereby given that Messrs L. Havill and Son Ltd., having applied under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for a specified departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe Borough Council Operative District Scheme and having met the requirements of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and having regard to the fact that no objections were received and the Papatoetoe Borough Council support the application, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme by permitting the applicant company to use as a “conditional use” the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of a factory for the manufacturing of clothing, notwithstanding that it is and shall remain zoned as “residential”, subject, however, to the following conditions:
(1) That detailed plans and specifications be submitted for approval prior to any work being carried out.
(2) That the proposed building be used for the purpose of clothing manufacture and that no change of use be permitted without the consent of Council.
(3) That the development comply in all respects with Council’s Code of Ordinances for Industrial “B” Zones except that no side yards would be required where the building adjoins the residential portion of part Lot 5, D.P. 9762.
(4) That the access way to Kolmar Road be permanently surfaced and drained to the satisfaction of the Borough Engineer.
SCHEDULE
The property situated at No. 131A Kolmar Road, Papatoetoe, containing one (1) rood five decimal two (5·2) perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on D.P. 45573 and being part of Allotment 37, Parish of Manurewa, and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1580, folio North Auckland Registry.

Change of City of Auckland District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on 20 September 1965, the Council has recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto.
The changes of the district scheme as now recommended by the Council have been deposited in the Town Hall (Town Planning Division), the Central Library, and each of the branch libraries, namely, Avondale, Epsom, Grafton, Grey Lynn, Parnell, Point Chevalier, Remuera, Glen Innes, Tamaki, and Leys Institute, for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objection to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made by way of written notice in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to Scheme Change”, and lodged in the office of the Council at any time not later than 17 November 1965. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available from the Town Hall or from the libraries.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.
