WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Wellington City Sewerage Loan 1965, of £418,500
The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 11th day of August 1965.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of four hundred and eighteen thousand five hundred
pounds (£418,500) to be known as the Wellington City
Sewerage Loan 1965, of £418,500, authorised to be raised by
the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of constructing sewers and storm-water drainage in the city, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a
special rate of one hundred and thirteen one-thousandths of
a penny (0·113d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within
the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April
in each year, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off."

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 4, 1965, £229,900
The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of
the Wellington City Council held on the 15th day of
September 1965.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of two hundred and twenty-nine thousand nine
hundred pounds (£229,900) to be known as the Wellington
City Renewal Loan No. 4, 1965, of £229,900, authorised
to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity
those portions of the Electricity Loan 1956, £250,000;
Aerodrome Development Loan No. 1, 1952, £100,000;
Transport Loan 1955, £944,000; and Transport Loan No. 2,
1955, £63,700, which mature on 1 and 15 November 1965,
the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate
of one hundred and twenty seven one-thousandths of a
penny (0·127d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the
said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the
1st day of April in each year during the currency of the
said loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the
loan is fully paid off."

WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board resolves:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment and
repayment charges and all other expenses on the Wanganui-
Rangitikei Electric Power Board's Reticulation Loan 1965,
£350,000, to be raised pursuant to the above-mentioned au-
thority, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate
of one-tenth part of one penny (¼d.) in the pound on the
rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the
rateable property in the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power
District; and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the aforesaid loan and shall be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the said loan, but not exceeding a period of 20
years."

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Pahiatua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £3,900 authorised to be raised by the Pahiatua
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewerage
Loan 1955, £10,200 (issue of £5,000), which matures on 1
November 1965, the said Pahiatua Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal two four pence ('24d.) in
the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of
the Borough of Pahiatua on the basis of the unimproved
value; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half
yearly on the 1st day of November and the 1st day of May
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years,
or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING RATE
Rural Housing Loan £10,000
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimea
County Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the
terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waimea County
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0082d. in the pound
upon the capital value of all rateable property comprising the
whole of the Waimea County; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and shall be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

MANAWATU-OROUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board Renewal Loan,
1965, £11,000
Pursuant to section 45 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board hereby
resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of eleven thousand pounds (£11,000) authorised
to be raised by the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying
on maturity that portion of the Reticulation Loan No. 5,
1952, £75,000 (£20,000 portion), which matures on 15
December 1965, the said Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power
Board hereby makes a special rate of one ninety-fifth (1/95)
of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in
the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board District as defined
in the Proclamation appearing in the Gazette, No. 40, 16
June 1955, pages 963-964; and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable on the 15th day of December in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off".
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board held at Palmerston
North on the 13th day of September 1965.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Taihape Workshop and Housing Loan 1964
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei
County Council for the purpose of erecting a workshop on
Council property in Taihape, purchasing land, and erecting
houses for Council employees, the said Rangitikei County
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·072045 pence in the
pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in
the County of Rangitikei; and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
