CORRIGENDUM

IN the Proclamation, dated the 2nd day of June 1965 and published in Gazette of 8 July 1965, No. 38, page 1090, taking land for road in Block XI, Rangitoto Survey District, Rangitikei County, for “Block VII, Waiwera Survey District,” read “Block XI, Rangitoto Survey District”, which last-mentioned reference appears in the Proclamation signed by His Excellency the Governor-General.

CORRIGENDUM

In a Gazette notice, dated 11 August 1965 and published in the Gazette of 19 August 1965, No. 45, page 1326, granting control of waters and lake beds within Rotorua County to Rotorua County Council, for “Lake Rotorua” in the second-last line of the First Schedule read “Lake Rotoma”.

Additional Land at Te Rapa Taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.


SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of additional land taken:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.O. 36728, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton, and thereon coloured green, edged green.

Land Taken for Housing Purposes and for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Improvement Act 1945 in the City of Wanganui

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes and, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 17 of the Housing Improvement Act 1945, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public work duly authorised by the said Public Works Act and for the purposes of Part I of the said Housing Improvement Act, and that the said parcels of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wanganui as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of September 1965.


FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 61, D.P. 1374, being part Section 227, Right Bank Wanganui River. All certificate of title, Volume 130, folio 105, Wellington Land Registry.


SECOND SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 9·86 perches situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 1, D.P. 7663, being part Section 23, Wanganui Suburban. Part certificate of title, Volume 170, folio 226, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of August 1965.
