Adding Land to Arthur's Pass National Park

His Excellency The Administrator of the Government
in Council
Pursuant to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His
Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto
shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of
the Arthur's Pass National Park, and shall hereafter be
managed, administered, and dealt with by the Arthur's Pass
National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of
the said Act.
SCHEDULE
Canterbury Land District
Section 3, Arthur's Pass Township, situated in Block VI,
Bealey Survey District: Area, 34 perches, more or less (S.O.
Plan 6143).
Crown land (formerly parts Run 275, part Rural Section
34587, and closed road in Proclamation No. 627552) situated
in Block XII, Bealey Survey District, and Block IX, Hawdon
Survey District: Total area, 190 acres and 8 perches, more
or less (S.O. 10485). And also, closed road in Proclamation
No. 619862 situated in Block VI, Bealey Survey District:
Area, 2 acres 3 roods 26'4 perches, more or less, subject to a
right of way registered in Register 1D, folio 1453 (S.O. Plan
10051). As are shown on plans marked L. and S. 4/633
D1 and 4/633E, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

abolishes the Seaward Bush Rural Fire District and revokes
the order constituting that district made on the 9th day of
March 1949, and published in the Gazette in 1949, Volume I,
page 724.

consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council
dated the 7th day of April 1959, and published in the Gazette
on the 9th day of April 1959, at page 443, authorising Donald
Stewart Blue, of Ohau Downs, sheep farmer, to use water
for the purpose of generating electricity.
