RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing concrete footpaths, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point eight eight pence in the pound (·88d. in the pound) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Papakura; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Redemption Loan 1965, £22,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £22,000 authorised to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of repaying on maturity the Water Supply Loan 1955, £32,400, which matures on 1 November 1965, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two nought nine pence (·209d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on the 12th day of August 1965.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road being portion of Whangarata-Razorback road, within the County of Franklin, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by and who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the 16th day of August 1965, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR WATERWORKS

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Mount Maunganui Borough Council proposes to take, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, the lands described in the Schedule hereto for waterworks, namely, water catchment, conservation, and supply. A plan of the land required to be taken is deposited and is open for inspection at the public office of the Tauranga County Council, Barke’s Corner, Tauranga, and at the public office of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council, Maunganui Road, Mount Maunganui.

Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the works or to the taking of the lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Mount Maunganui Borough Council.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the above-mentioned Act, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road; to take the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for severances; and to close portions of the road described in the Third Schedule hereto; and notice is further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the above Council situated at Te Kuiti and are open for public inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
