Declaring Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purpose of a Road in Block IV, Benmore Survey District

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Robert William James Munro, sheep-farmer, and Jessie Lena Munro, his wife, both of Glenburn, under and by virtue of pastoral lease recorded in register book, Volume 451, folio 110, Otago Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road from and after the 16th day of August 1965.

ALL that piece of land containing 35 acres 1 rood 8 perches situated in Block IV, Benmore Survey District, being part Run 729; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19569 (S.O. 13587), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land for a Scenic Reserve in Block II, Maruia Survey District

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a scenic reserve; and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the post office at Inangahua Junction and are there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of such land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send such written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
