Closely Populated Locality Extended
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives notice as follows:
1.The Warrant under section 3 of the Motor Vehicles
Amendment Act 1936, dated the 23rd day of November 1938,
which relates to Plimmerton Township and Beach Settlement
in Hutt County and the Warrant under section 36 of the
Transport Act 1949, dated the 9th day of June 1958†, which
relates to Parematã, Mana, Plimmerton, and Golden Gate in
Hutt County are hereby revoked.
2. The area specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of
section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hutt County at Parematã, Golden Gate,
Mana, Plimmerton and Karehana Bay:
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point
on the north-western side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-
Bluff) 28 chains measured south-westerly generally along
the said roadside from the No. 58 State Highway (Haywards-
Paremata); thence across the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-
Bluff) at right angles to its north-western side to its south-
eastern side; thence south-westerly generally along the south-
eastern side of the said highway to the northern boundary
of Porirua Borough; thence south-easterly generally along
that boundary to a point intersecting a right line due south
from a point on the south-western side of the No. 58 State
Highway (Haywards-Paremata) 18 chains measured south-
easterly generally along the said highway from Seaview
Road; thence due north along the said right line to the
last-mentioned point; thence north-easterly generally across
the No. 58 State Highway (Haywards-Paremata) at right
angles to its south-western side to its north-eastern side;
thence north-easterly generally by a right line to the north-
eastern end of Seaview Road; thence north-westerly generally
by a right line to the northern end of Mana View Road;
thence northerly generally by a right line to a point on the
southern side of the Plimmerton-Pauatahanui Road 12 chains
measured easterly generally along the said roadside from
Taupo Crescent; thence northerly generally across the Plim-
merton-Pauatahanui Road at right angles to its southern side
to its northern side; thence north-westerly generally along a
right line to the eastern end of James Street; thence westerly
generally to a point on the eastern side of the No. 1 State
Highway (Awanui-Bluff) 5 chains measured northerly generally
along the said roadside from James Street; thence westerly
generally across the said highway at right angles to its

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964, the
Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the
provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regula-
tions so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade
motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned,
but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1964 to the person described in column 1 of the
Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade
motor in the course of his employment for the employer
described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not
authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive
a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964, the
Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 4) 1965
PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964,* the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 4) 1965.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the 13th day of July 1965. - Goods of the classes specified in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted
from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations. - The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the class set forth in the Second
Schedule hereto included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule is hereby withdrawn.
