CORRIGENDUM

IN the notice headed Appointment of Honorary Consul of the Philippines at Auckland in Gazette, No. 31, page 908, for the words “Mr Laurance F. Rudd, d.s.o., o.b.e., e.d.,” please read “Mr Laurence F. Rudd, d.s.o., o.b.e., e.d.,” which last-mentioned words appear in the notice signed by the Minister of External Affairs.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Granity to the Purposes of a Road


BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the National Roads Board and shall be maintained by the said Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land:

2 0 29·3 Railway land in Blocks I and VI, Ngakawau Survey District.

Situated in Buller County (S.O. 10387).

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 19339 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of June 1965.

Land Taken for an Electric Power Substation and for Street in the City of Christchurch


BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an electric power substation, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street, and that the said pieces of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch as from the date herein-after mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of July 1965.


FIRST SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1·1 perches situated in the City of Christchurch, and being part Lot 1, D.P. 1514, being part Town Sections 485 and 487. All certificate of title, Volume 199, folio 6, Canterbury Land Registry.


SECOND SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 31⅛ perches situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D., and being Lots 1 and 2, L.T.P. 22063, being part Town Reserve 2, Town of Christchurch; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19443 (S.O. 10387), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of June 1965.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme).
