Declaring Land in South Auckland Land District, Vested in
the South Auckland Education Board as a Site for a Public
School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being
an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board as a
site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the
Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust
affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances,
liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Lot 1, D.P. S. 1788, being part Allotment 279, Whangamarino
Parish, situated in Block XIV, Piako Survey District: Area,
1 rood, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 1068, folio
221. Subject to fencing agreement contained in transfer S.
47501.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 16th day of June 1965.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier
Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the
Schedule as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

SECTION 16, Block VIII, Coromandel Survey District: Area,
2 roods 7 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume
483, folio 177 (S.O. Plan 36246), and Lot 1, D.P. S. 9171,
being part Owera Block, situated in Block VIII, in Coromandel
Survey District: Area, 3 roods 15·4 perches, more or less.
Balance certificate of title, Volume 601, folio 174 (cancelled).
As shown on Plan No. 18/18 deposited in the Head Office of
the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 27th day of May 1965.

Revoking a Proclamation Declaring Areas in the Southland
Acclimatisation District as a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard
Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation, issued on the 30th day of
October 1958 and published in the Gazette of 6 November
1958 at page 1553, declaring areas in the Southland Acclimatisa-
tion District as wildlife refuges, for the purposes of the said
Wildlife Act 1953, in so far as it affects the land described in
the Second Schedule thereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area situated in Block IV, Invercargill Hundred, con-
taining 425 acres, more or less, commencing at the junction of
the Queenstown-Invercargill State Highway, and Myross Bush
Road, National Grid Reference 347,072, grid square S. 22;
proceeding northerly along the eastern side of the said State
highway to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot
1, D.P. 4637; thence easterly and northerly to and along the
southern and eastern boundaries of the said Lot 1, the eastern
boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 4510, and Lots 3, 2, and 1, D.P.
3974, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot;
thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of
part Lot 4, D.P. 2145, to the south-eastern corner thereof;
thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of the said part
Lot 4, across a public road and along the eastern boundaries of
part Lot 2, D.P. 2145, and part Section 27, to the southern
boundary of Block IX, Invercargill Hundred; thence easterly
along the southern boundary of the said Block IX, to the
western boundary of Section 31; thence southerly generally
along the western boundary of the said Section 31, the north-
western, western, and southern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 1161,
and again along the western boundary of the said Section 31,
to the northern side of Myross Bush Road; thence westerly
along the northern side of Myross Bush Road to the point
of commencement.

All the land in certificates of title, Volume 176, folio 26;
Volume 176, folio 27, and Volume 187, folio 238, and part of
the land in certificate of title, Volume 187, folio 239.

As shown on the plan marked I.A. 52/390, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and
thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 9th day of June 1965.
