Land Taken for Stream Diversion in Block XI, Alexandra Survey District, and Block VI, Karioi Survey District, Raglan County

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for stream diversion; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of February 1965.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Alexandra Survey District, described as follows:

0 0 33·6 Part Lot 1, D.P. S. 2363; coloured sepia on plan.
0 0 6·7 Part land on D.P. 9008; coloured yellow, edged yellow on plan.
0 0 5·7 Part Lot 1, D.R.O. plan C. 104; coloured yellow, edged yellow on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 8900 (S.O. 42006) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned. Also, all that piece of land containing 10·5 perches situated in Block VI, Karioi Survey District, being part Lot 2, D.P. 11514, being part Allotment 50, Whaingaroa Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 6689 (S.O. 40906) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, edged yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of December 1964.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held by Kenneth Frederick Day, of Putaruru, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 1084, folio 47, South Auckland Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto, held by Philip Herbert Thomas, of Putaruru, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 1084, folio 43, South Auckland Land Registry and the leasehold estate in the land thirdly and fourthly described in the Schedule hereto, held by Thomas Kitchener McClunie, of Putaruru, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 1084, folio 44, South Auckland Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land fifthly described in the Schedule hereto held by Thomas Gerald Homan, of Putaruru, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 1084, folio 45, South Auckland Land Registry are hereby taken for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme).
