Lyttelton Greymouth, Westport, or Hokitika Newsprint, New Zealand manufacture direct ex ship (not requiring to be sorted at Christchurch. Owner's risk. Class D less 25 per cent. Minimum 10 cwt per consignment.
Lyttelton Dunedin Imported fruit or vegetables in crates, cases, or sacks £6 15s. per ton, including sorting at Christchurch. Minimum quantity, 10 tons per consignment.
Lyttelton Invercargill Imported fruit or vegetables in crates, cases, or sacks £8 3s. per ton, including sorting at Christchurch. Minimum quantity, 5 tons per consignment.
Woolston Stations in the South Island Plaster, direct ex factory, in minimum wagon loads as per section 77, General Scale of Charges Class N, including the use of tarpaulins, but excluding the cost of sheeting, Quantities in less than prescribed minimum wagon loads will be charged at such minimum or on actual weight at classified rates, whichever is cheaper.
Woolston Dunedin Empty tins Class C. Minimum quantity, 3 tons per four-wheeled wagon, n.o.s., and 3 tons 15 cwt. per Lc or Xc wagon.
Christchurch Any station in the South Island Ice cream conveyed by express or passenger trains when accommodation is available in the Guards' vans of such trains Classified C rate.
Stations Christchurch, Hornby, Belfast, inclusive Ashburton Classes C, D, E, and F plus 50 per cent (excepting explosives). Owner's risk £1 15s. 6d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 5 tons per four-wheeled wagon, 10 tons per bogie wagon, and 20 tons each and every week, including tonnage railed in the reverse direction. Owners to load and unload.
Culverden Any station in the South Island Larch rails not exceeding 20 ft in length and 6 in. in diameter at the butt. Minimum quantity, 1,000 sup. ft. per consignment Class K less 20 per cent. Minimum loads as per section 75 para. 1.
Kaikoura Kowhai, Hundalee, and intermediate stations Hapuku, Blenheim, and intermediate stations Bread, consigned as parcels or goods traffic 3d. per 2 lb or 4 lb loaf.
Blenheim or Seddon Kaikoura, Riverlands, and intermediate stations Bread, consigned as parcels or goods traffic 3d. per 2 lb or 4 lb loaf.
