BOROUGH OF NEWMARKET

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Newmarket Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Newmarket Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of developing Newmarket Park, the said Newmarket Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal point one pence (1·10d.) in the pound upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Newmarket; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NORTH AUCKLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PUBUC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the North Auckland Electric Power Board held on the 13th day of May 1965, the following resolution was passed:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred thousand pounds (£200,000) authorised to be raised by the North Auckland Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electricity in the board’s district, the said North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal three eight three pence (0·383d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the North Auckland Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Mangawhero Stream Improvements Loan 1964, £7,460
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seven thousand four hundred and sixty pounds (£7,460) authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of finding council’s share of the cost of channel improvements to the Mangawhero Stream, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate on a graduated scale according to a classification made for the purposes of such rate on lands in the Mangawhero Drainage District special rating area of eleven shillings and sixpence (11s. 6d.) per acre on lands classified as Class A; five shillings and ninepence (5s. 9d.) per acre on lands classified as Class B; two shillings and tenpence half-penny (2s. 10½d.) per acre on lands classified as Class C; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Otorohanga County Council held on the 19th day of March 1965.

AWATERE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Rural Housing Loan 1963, £5,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Awatere County Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Awatere County Rural Housing Loan 1963 of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorised to be raised by the Awatere County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Awatere County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·05d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of the rateable property comprising the whole of the Awatere County; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Awatere County Council held on Thursday, the 13th day of May 1965, and that such resolution is a true copy of the resolution recorded in the minutes of the said meeting.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Rural Housing Loan 1964, £30,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000) authorised to be raised by the Waitomo County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of the whole of the rateable property in the County of Waitomo; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Dated this 14th day of May 1965.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Housing Loan (Pensioner Flats, Daniell Street, Stage II, and Ira Street) 1965, of £6,400
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 12th day of May 1965:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of six thousand four hundred pounds (£6,400) to be known as the Wellington City Housing Loan (Pensioner Flats, Daniell Street, stage II, and Ira Street) 1965, of £6,400, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting pensioner flats, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of two one-thousandths of a penny (0·002d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Riverton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,500 authorised to be raised by the Riverton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a fire engine, the Riverton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal six six pence (0·66d.) in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Riverton Borough comprising the whole of the Borough of Riverton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is paid off.”
